Break Camps 2024-25

Book a Break Camp at Orangutan Chess Academy during a no-school day! All our camps have daily indoor and outdoor time, as weather permits. Indoor time may include board game free play (chess, MTG, D&D, and other strategy games), board game instruction, STEAM instruction, cartoons, and movies at the lead instructor's discretion.  Popcorn, graham crackers, Goldfish crackers, water, and chocolate protein drinks are provided daily. 

Our schedule is based on Seattle Public School's Academic Calendar (September - June). Camps run during Holidays, State In-Service Days, Family-Teacher Conference Days, and Scheduled Breaks. Length varies from 1 to 5 consecutive weekdays with a 5-day maximum.  For example, a two-week School Break could be subdivided into smaller Break Camps.

Space is limited to 24 kids. 2024-25 Pricing is as follows:

(S) Standard Camp Hours:

9am-3pm • $120/day (Max $500/week)

9am-5pm • adds $30/day (Max $650/week)

(E) Extended* Camp Hours:

(D) Early Drop-off* Option:

Allows child to be dropped off by 8am • adds $20/day

*No single-day care pricing option available.

All clubs require a signed liability waiver/photo release for each student, which covers them for all registered OCA clubs, camps, and events through August 31, 2025.
