Break Camps
Book a Break Camp at Orangutan Chess Academy during a no-school day!
All our camps have daily indoor and outdoor time, as weather permits. Indoor time may include board game free play (chess, MTG, D&D, and other strategy games), board game instruction, STEAM instruction, cartoons, and movies at the lead instructor's discretion. Popcorn, graham crackers, Goldfish crackers, water, and chocolate protein drinks are provided daily. Register Today!
Our schedule is based on Seattle Public School's Academic Calendar (September - June). Camps run during Holidays, State In-Service Days, Family-Teacher Conference Days, and Scheduled Breaks. Length varies from 1 to 5 consecutive weekdays with a 5-day maximum. For example, a two-week School Break could be subdivided into smaller Break Camps.

Full Week
Standard • 8:45am-3pm: $399/week
Extended • 8:45am-5pm: $549/week
Single Day Options
Standard • 8:45am-3pm: $90/day
Extended • 8:45am-5pm: $120/day
Morning • 8:45am-11:45am: $50/day
Afternoon • 12pm-3pm: $50/day
Ext. Afternoon • 12pm-5pm: $80/day
Scholarships Available: We offer scholarship assistance to our community, up to two scholarships per camp. Scholarships are provided based on need, and you only need ask. Please contact us directly to request assistance.
Sibling Bonus: Orangutan Chess Academy purchases one whole pizza or free lunches for siblings who sign up for the Full Standard or Extended Week. (We usually have a special lunch at Green Lake PCC on Thursdays!)
