Chess Classes are a school-year offering. We offer 9 classes each week - M/Tu/W/Th at 5:00pm and 6:00pm. Classes have a maximum capacity of 16 students. To join a class students must have a monthly membership. Membership is $99/month. Plans auto-renew monthly until cancelled. *First Time Special: $49 for the first month! Use code FIRSTMONTH49
"Orangutan Club" is held Saturday afternoons at 1:00pm and follows as pay-as-you-pay model. Just $7/week!

Chess Classes/Club meet weekly on school days based on the Seattle Public School (SPS) calendar. They do not meet on SPS holidays, state in-service days, family-teacher conference days, scheduled breaks, or emergency cancellation days based on inclement weather.
2025-26 School Calendar Year (No-school dates)
• October 10 State In-service Day (no school for students)
• November 11 Veterans Day Observed (no school)
• November 24-26 Family-Teacher conference days in elementary and K-8 schools (no school for elementary and K-8 schools; varies by school)
• November 27-28 Thanksgiving and Native American Heritage Day (no school)
• December 19 1-hour early dismissal
• December 22-January 2, 2025 Winter break (no school)
• January 19 Martin Luther King Jr. Day (no school)
• February 16-20 Mid-winter break, including Presidents Day (no school)
• April 13-17 Spring break (no school)
• May 25 Memorial Day (no school)
• June 19 Juneteenth (staff holiday, no school when school is in session)
